For those of you who haven't been following Sue for her entire career, I've decided to add this section to bring you up to speed. Hope you enjoy. -Val

Sue qualified for the LPGA Tour in January of 1982 at Bent Tree Country Club in Sarasota, Florida at age 24.

She played full-time on the LPGA for eleven years before going into collegiate coaching in 1993.

Before the LPGA Tour, Sue had a successful career at Michigan State University. In 1975, with very little competitive golf experience, Sue was a walk-on to the Spartan golf team. By the time she graduated, Sue had led her team to three Big 10 Championships and was a two-time individual Big 10 Champion. In 1979, Sue was one of ten collegiate women golfers to be selected as an All-American.

In 1988, Sue was inducted into the National Collegiate Golf Hall of Fame and in 2001 to the Michigan State University Athletics Hall of Fame.
